Signage

Signs and symbols tell us information and convey it quickly through pictorial representations. 
  • road signs
  • information signs at railway stations
  • warning signs
  • washing symbols on clothes

Signs and symbols give information. They are used instead of words. Examples include:
Road sign for warning: elderly people
Red triangle = risk/danger
